Main Responsibility

? Allocate R&D resources (Project Engineers, Packaging Engineers and Laboratory team) to work on new products northface outlet
development and delivery;
? Manage and control budgets for the local R&D team;? Coach team members and provide services to help them to manage projects;
? Manage team members’ Work and Development Plan, and help them to get proper trainings;? Coordinate with local Operations and Purchasing to manage supply chain;? Maintain the relationships with local teams in C&D Guangzhou and partners in C&D Princeton;? Source and Qualify new suppliers and materials, and translate new technologies to engineering;? Provide technical assurance for product supply to deliver quality product on cost.Under your Direct Supervision: ? Product Team Inorth face outlet (1 team leader, 2 engineers)? Product Team II (1 team leader, 2 engineers)
? Packaging Team (1 team leader and 1 engineer)? Electronics Engineering and Laboratory Team (1 team leader, 1 supervisor and 3 technicians)
Achievement:? Built the local R&D team from zero to a well organized group;? Developed the local R&D team management strategy;
? Led R&D teamcheap northface jackets to develop internal training courses;? Led R&D team to develop the CBA (Current Best Approach) standards;? Established and expanded the R&D Laboratory to meet business needs. ? Manage new device projects from PE (Project Establishment) to SOP (Start of Production);? Manage supply chain in China and Asia;? Coordinate with US partners to manage contract manufacturers in China & Asia;
? Work with third-parties to certificate new product;? Work with third-parties to assess safety of design;? Develop new mechanical and electrical devices;? Source and Qualify new suppliers and materials;? Qualify manufacturing process;? Qualify molds & production lines.Project Experience:
